A seat on the board of Santa Monica Mountains Conservatory (SMMC) opened up and Gloria Romero took the opportunity. Senator Romero is now a member of the Board of Directors for SMMC. Flat Top, Paradise Hill and Ascot Hills are in her district. This places a strong advocate for the cause in a very influential position.

Senator Romero will be flying down from Sacramento to attend the SMMC meeting this Monday, January 26. Please join us at the meeting.

It is imperative that we communicate to the board how strongly we support the preservation of these "jewels of the east.".
